Schuh, Marie (Marriage - 1948)

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nicolai are making their home with the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schuh, in Colby, following their wedding trip to Denver, Colo. The bride is the former Marie Schuh. The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nikolai of Stratford.

The couple was married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, Wis. The wedding party included Mr. and Mrs. Dale Reis, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, Miss Leonore Nikolai, sister of the groom, Miss Jean Elstrom, Miss Donna Van Dreel, Miss Marcia Schmidt, Mrs. Arthur Schuh, Clarence Nikolai, Robert Hepner, William Waldhart, Jr., Gilbert Lieck, and Arthur Schuh.

The bride wore a white satin gown fashioned with a hoop skirt, long sleeves and a lace ruffle outlining the net yoke. Her long veil edged with lace was fastened to a pearl tiara. The attendants were attired in white, green, blue, yellow orchid and pink.
